Ultrasound
An imaging study to determine the functional and structural characteristics of the musculoskeletal organ. Thanks to the ultrasound image, the physiotherapist can continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy carried out, adapt the rehabilitation techniques used so far to the needs of the patient, which ultimately leads to a shorter time to return to full fitness. Rehabilitation using ultrasound is a non-invasive and painless method.
Ultrasound is used in conservative rehabilitation of all joints. Through the examination, the physiotherapist is able to determine muscle function and the proper arthrokinematics (mechanics) of certain joints. Ultrasound is also used to study the deep muscles that stabilize the spine. Recommended for patients after orthopedic and surgical procedures (scarring).
